Day 5 Itinerary
- CuiHu Walking trail (翠湖步道)
- Carton King Restaurant
- Swiss Garden

Breakfast time on a sunny morning
After breakfast, we took a walk along cuihu walking trail (翠湖步道). It started as cooling and relaxing walk but the weather got very hot after 30 min.
There were lesser trees to shelter us as we move along the way. Half way thru the walk, we sighted the turqoise lake. View towards lake was quite fantastic at a few vantage point along the way. Thot of turning back but ended up continuing the walk since google map showed that we were more than half way through.
After 5.6 km and taken a wrong path down someone's farm :s we finally reached the end of the trail at Margeret restaurant. The auntie at the restaurant kindy told us that there is a bus stop just outside the restaurant so we proceeded to wait for the bus. 
Nantou public bus 6658 finally came after about 20 min wait. We were so relieved!!
We alighted at Guomin pin guan stop and walked to Carton King for lunch.
We ordered veg mushroom pasta and honey vinegar n honey aloe vera drinks. The pasta looks like a mess :S I wished they put some thought in the food like what they did to the decor.
Spending of over NT 300 entitled us for one swiss garden ticket.
After lunch we headed back to Misting to rest and to take a short nap.
At around 2.30pm we bought another ticket from the Minsu for NT 90 and headed to the Swiss garden. I would say its really nothing much there. More of a mini theme park. Give it a miss if you are in a rush. Spend more time relaxing at Qing qing grassland instead.
After the Swiss Garden, we walked around the central town area while waiting for the musical fountain at Swiss garden. Again, dont expect too much from this performance :p
After the short show, we went back to misting and relax til dinner time.
Dinner was again 5 veg + 1 soup!! So full!!
