Nuya's Travelogue: Taiwan 9–18 November 2012 : Day 6

Day 6, another bright sunny day!

Breakfast spread

After having our breakfast at Misting. We rested for a while and packed to checked out.

We checked out at 11am and deposited our luggage at misting. They kindly offered to deliver to us at 12.30pm at the centre bus waiting area.

After checking out, we walked around the town area for the last time and bought ourselves postcards to mail. A little fun thing to do :)

Bus appeared quite punctually at 1.10pm.

We had about 2 rest stop along the way.

As it was already 5 plus pm when the bus approaches Taipei city, we met with peak hour traffic. We finally arrived in Taipei bus station at around 6.40pm, almost as predicted by the bus tour 'guide'. I find the bus guide very polite and even thanked all the passengers for their coorperation. We all clapped after her short thank you speech. lol

After alighting from the bus, we walked towards the Bannan blue MRT line to get to our hotel at Ximen station. We exited from exit M6 and walked about 5-10 min towards Amba hotel.

We booked online at Amba hotel for 4 nights. The hotel room looks nice but they did not give us a room with a 'view'. There is a small window which you can see other rooms. I thought it was quite clastrophobic without views. The location at Ximending was quite awesome though.

After checking in, we rested for a while before heading out again for dinner. As we were quite hungry, we settled our dinner at 'Ah Mao Risotto'. Their mascot is a golden retriever and you can see tonnes of people passing by and taking photos with the dog :)
