Breakfast at LeParker. Frankly.. it’s kind of sad looking
The good thing is that they make your sandwich only on order.
Checked out from Le Parker hotel. Excited for the next destination! CingJing (清境)!
We took a cab to TongLian Zhong Gang station (統聯客運中港轉運站)
Waiting for E-Go bus to CingJing
The bus departed from Taipei and it was delayed :( We waited 1 hour passed the original boarding time.
Long wait at Tong Lian bus terminal
We bought 2 veg onigiri at the nearby convenient store
Finally boarded the bus! There was not seat number allocated :( We had to seat right at the very last row.
Finally reached CingJing. Exterior of the e-go bus
We reached CingJing at around noon and have no idea how to get to our accomodation at Misty Villa Cingjing (清境雲濛仙境民宿) :P
There are a few shops around, including a bakery, Starbucks, souvenier shop and a 7-11
After recce the place and noticed the steep slope, I decided to call up the Misty Minsu staff to come get us. They were really kind to agree.
The driver picked us up at 1.00pm
Friendly Maggie briefed us on the suggested itinerary for the day.
Water is served to us while we wait to check in
The reception
Outdoor dining area
Very homely feel with a parrot at the lobby n a dog roaming around
View from our room
Interior of the room. Nice and cosy with a great view!
We rested in the room for a while and gathered at the lobby at 2pm to go to QingQing CaoYuan (青青草原)
QingQing CaoYuan entrance
Entrance tickets
Nice relaxing place to chill out
We bought ticket from our Misty Minsu for NT140 earlier. Luckily there were lots of visitors on the day we visited. An extra sheep performance is included at 2.30pm. Usually the performance is only available on weekend. I didn’t appreciate some part of the performance especially when the performer made fun of the sheeps.
After the sheep herding performance, we roamed around the surrounding area.
Of course we had to get some fresh milk to try out! Piping hot. Nice on a chilly late afternoon.
After the performance, we walked towards another section of the area to view the horse performance.
It started to drizzle a little.
The show lasted for about 30 min.
After the performance, we took the 499 staircase downhill back to the town centre. It is still quite manageable and it is a nice walk, except that you may have tonnes of people walking in front and behind you on the stairs, especially since we left the place at about the same time after the performance. The walk took about 25 minutes.
Follow this ‘GuoMin BingGuan/7-11’ sign
First 50 steps! Marked on the stairs
Finally step no. 487
Glad to reach our Minsu!
Had a little tea break prior to dinner. Cheesecake + Milo
Our yummy dinner feast!!
