This is where we had lunch, Bikkuri Donkey (Lit. surprise donkey.. lol), a Hamburger Steak Restaurant. What luck!
Steak. The waitress was talking in length in Japanese not knowing we couldn’t understand. My very basic Japanese language failed me.. haha.. After some times, we got her to talk slower.. I think she meant that we can cook the steak on the piece of round metal piece on the hot plate.. :P
Love the design of their menu!
Our dessert.. yum ~~~
The full menu. Price is pretty reasonable
Bye bye.. hope to be back :D
We walked back to the main street
After 20 minutes walk in total confusion (lol..), we finally located the Kitaichi Venetian Art Museum! We wanted to visit the Venice themed exhibition at the museum
Our admission tickets
Sadly.. no photos are allowed
The exterior of the museum
Venetian style streetlight can be seen along the streets of Otaru
We strolled along the street and found some nice design along the way
A lot of charming looking shop like these
I’m guessing these are to prevent heavy snow fall from the hilltop?
This shop looks warm and inviting

Finally it’s dinner time! We have limited choice… as we weren’t sure where to go. Finally found a lively looking conveyor belt restaurant with super long q, Waraku. Customers are seated at the waiting area for their turn
Thank goodness we were seated after waiting for a while
Some of what we ordered
Our cleaned plates
The food is not bad, price is reasonable
